Field Detail

splashIm

java.awt.Image splashIm
This field is the splash screen image named splashIm of class type Image.

horizontal

int horizontal
This is a variable of type int which will be the horizontal resolution of the current desktop.

vertical

int vertical
This is a variable of type int which will be the vertical resolution of the current desktop.

Constructor Detail

SplashWindow

SplashWindow(java.awt.Frame parent,
             java.awt.Image splashIm,
             int horizontal,
             int vertical)
This method is inside of another class. This method basically initializes the splash window which is created when the program starts. It sets the location of this splash screen in the middle of the screen. It then makes it visible. There are no OS/Hardware dependencies or variances. There are no security constraints. There are no references to any external specifications.

Parameters:
parent - This parameter is of type Frame.
splashIm - This parameter is of type Image, and contains the current splash image.
horizontal - This parameter is of type int, containing the horizontal pixel resolution of the current desktop.
vertical - This parameter is of type int, containing the vertical resolution of the current desktop.
Method Detail

paint

public void paint(java.awt.Graphics g)
This method will actually "paint" the splash image into the window which was opened for the splash screen. That is why the parameter is of type Graphics. There are no OS/Hardware dependencies and no variances. There are no security constraints and no references to any external specifications.

Overrides:
paint in class java.awt.Container
Parameters:
g - This parameter is of type Graphics.
